TERMS AND CONDITIONS

NO PURCHASE OR CHARGE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS DRAWING.

Eligibility:

Drawing participants must be a U.S. resident and at least 18 years of age at the time the drawing begins. Drawing participants must be present at the time of the drawing.

This Drawing is sponsored by the Eastern Energy Expo (“EEE”). All employees and their immediate families or any members of their households, regardless of relationship or any exhibitors, sponsors, sponsoring association staff and their respective families are not eligible to participate in the Drawing.

Any Drawing entries received from an ineligible participant will be disqualified. By participating in this Drawing, participants accept and agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of EEE, which shall be final on all matters. EEE reserves the right to modify the rules of the Drawing in any way at any time, subject to applicable state or federal law, if any.

Drawing Period:

The Drawing begins on May 21, 2025 at 10:00am and ends on May 21, 2025 at 1:00pm (“Drawing Period”). All entries must be received and recorded by EEE during the Drawing Period to be eligible.

How To Enter:

You can enter the Drawing by filling out and submitting a Drawing entry form and placing it in the designated area on the EEE’s trade show floor. Duplicate entries will be rejected for entry in the Drawing.

EEE is not responsible for lost, misdirected, late, incomplete, illegible or unintelligible entries or for inaccurate entry information, whether caused by the participant or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Drawing, or by any technical or human error that may occur in the transmittal of any entry. Participant must notify EEE of any changed contact information within the Drawing Period to remain eligible to win based on entry information. EEE reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Drawing; to be acting in violation of these rules; or to be acting with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or similar response methods will void all such entries submitted by such methods.

Prizes and Selection of Winners:

Drawing participants will enter for a chance to win a cash prize. The chances of winning depend on the number of entries received. No transfer or assignment of the prize is permitted.

Winners will be selected in a random drawing to be held at 10:30am, 11:00am, 11:30am, Noon, 12:30pm and 1:00pm on May 21, 2025. Once the winner’s name is announced, the winner will have up to three (3) minutes to claim the prize by showing a valid government-issued identification. If the winner does not claim the prize within the allotted timeframe, the prize will be forfeited and the cash prize will be added to the next drawing. For the final 1:00pm drawing, if the winner does not claim the prize within the allotted time frame, another winner’s name will be drawn with the same stipulation and the process will continue for a third time, if necessary. If no winner is present, the prize will be forfeited.

Winners are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes and any expenses associated with any prizes. The Internal Revenue Service requires Form 1099-MISC to be issued and filed for each recipient who received a prize if the annual aggregate is at least $600 or more. If the prize value of the drawing exceeds the Internal Revenue Service requirement, winners who are residents of the United States of America must complete and submit a W-9 form to receive the cash prize. The recipient is responsible for any income tax liability and should consult his/her tax advisor for the proper tax treatment of this income on his/her tax return.

EEE reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, terminate, or suspend this Drawing should viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond EEE’s control corrupt or impair the administration, security or fairness of the Drawing. EEE is not responsible for any human or technological error that may occur in the processing of the Drawing nor is it responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, communications line failure, theft or destruction of, unauthorized access to, delay in operation, transmission, or distribution of, or alteration of entries, whether caused by the sender, any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Drawing, or otherwise.

Limitation of Liability and Dispute Resolution:

Except where prohibited, each participant and winner accepting the cash prize agrees that: (a) all issues and questions concerning these rules shall be governed by New Jersey law without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law of any jurisdiction; (b) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action at law or in equity arising out of or relating to this Drawing or any prize awarded shall be (i) resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and (ii) filed only in the state courts situated in New Jersey, and participant hereby consents and submits to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purposes of litigating any such disputes, claims or causes of action; (c) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event shall include attorneys’ fees; and (d) under no circumstances will any participant or winner be permitted to obtain awards for and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, special, consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.
